Rowlett is well-connected to local and regional transportation networks and provides high quality and sustainable roadways and utility systems.
NO TAX RATE INCREASE
On May 4, 2024, residents of Rowlett are asked to go to the polls to consider authorizing the issuance of bonds in the amount of $51.35 million for four bond propositions. Each of these projects were carefully considered and proposed by the citizen-led Council-appointed Community Investment Program Task Force, and the City Council voted to place these propositions on the ballot for citizens’ consideration.

6:30 p.m. April 11 & April 23 @ City Hall
Installing street lighting for Lakeview Parkway, with any surplus proceeds remaining after completion of such project to be used for street lighting for other major thoroughfares in the City.
